The Merimbula RSL Club is looking for security staff to work on a casual basis. You will need to have a current security licence and be able to work on Friday and Saturday nights to apply.

KITCHEN HAND/DISHY
The Merimbula RSL Club commercial kitchen is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner and is looking for a kitchen hand/dishy to join the kitchen crew!
The skills and experience that are essential are:
- You must be able to work days, nights and weekends.
- You must be reliable, self-motivated and hard working.
Previous experience in a busy kitchen is preferred but not essential.

CHEF/COOK
Full-time
Salary package $70,000-$80,000 pa
We are seeking a Chef/Cook to join our large kitchen team in our busy commercial kitchen on the Far South Coast of NSW in Merimbula. This position is full-time 5-day/38 hours per week and overtime if required.
Merimbula is a popular tourist destination between Sydney and Melbourne and only two and half hours from Canberra. The Merimbula RSL Club offers modern Western and Asian Cuisine, functions and conference catering as well as a busy coffee shop.
If you have previous experience in a similar role, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, excellent quality food production and service and are able to effectively work under pressure, this position is for you! We are looking for someone to commit for the long-term who has a friendly and a positive attitude, is reliable and can work well as part of a team.
The successful candidate requires the following skills and experience:
- Diploma in Commercial Cookery or three years of relevant experience
- Ability to prepare all ingredients/menu meals and adhere to service times with consistency and quality
- Maintain high standards at all times
- Efficiently manage stock levels and order stock
- Follow HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S regulations
- The ability to manage and supervise other staff involved in food preparation
This position also includes general kitchen duties and input into menu planning. Experience in pan work and sauces in modern Western and/or Mediterranean cuisine would be an advantage.
