Sapphire Life Opportunities (SLO) received $25,000 through the 2025 Bega Valley ClubGRANTS Category 1 program to support the ongoing operation of its free hot meal service in Merimbula.
SLO provides a free two course meal every Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm at 78 Main Street, supporting people experiencing homelessness, hardship and food insecurity. Meals are prepared using fresh local produce, with leftovers packaged for the Community Food Pantry.
Funding for this project was provided by Club Sapphire Merimbula, Merimbula RSL Club and Club Bega, as part of the Bega Valley ClubGRANTS Category 1.
